Results of the Detroit Section elections have been announced by SMPTE.
Chair for a one-year term of 1 July 2019 – 30 June 2020

Secretary/Treasurer for a one-year term of 1 July 2019 – 30 June 2020

Managers for a two-year term of 1 July 2019 – 30 June 2021

- R. Thomas Bray, University of Michigan
- Vincent Capizzo, Midnight Designs
Wallace, Tom and Vince join Ray Previ and Chris Hill, whose terms run through 30 June 2020.
Thank you to everyone who agreed to serve the Detroit Section. Also, thanks to those who voted, we had the largest increase in vote participation of all Sections. As a reward, we will receive funding from SMPTE for refreshments for an upcoming meeting.
The Detroit Section exists because of membership interest and involvement. Please consider serving as an officer or manager when our next election cycle starts in 2020.
