We are honoured to have Julie Kerr of CBC presenting at our November 12 meeting. Julie is the Executive Director Revenue Strategy & Foresight, Media Solutions.

Julie’s presentation and the subsequent discussion will explore Multi-Platform Content Delivery, fragmentation of audiences and revenue streams.  In today’s rapidly evolving media landscape, there is no more important and consequential topic.

Synopsis: Broadcasters and their cable, satellite, and IPTV distribution partners continue to be challenged by alternative forms of Internet content delivery. The traditional revenue streams of advertising and subscription revenues are being up-ended as new direct-to-consumer and FAST channels (Free Ad Supported Television) appear in the marketplace. Gain an understanding of the evolving audience and business landscape. Learn about the technological challenges of Digital Ad Insertion, particularly for live events.
