SUBJECT:   Wireless intercom technology for the New Age of Digital Broadcasting

We last visited the topic of intercom technology late in 2006. This month's program will provide an update on this important, but often taken-for-granted, component of facility operations and remote production.

James Schaller is Clear-Com's regional sales manager for the North Eastern US. His background includes design and sales of wired and wireless intercom for Broadcast, Live Event and Military/Aerospace/Government. James also has an extensive background in audio and video production and theatrical tour production.

Peter Amos is CEO of CoachComm, LLC of Auburn, Alabama. CoachComm is the dominate force in football communications nationwide with 99% off all major colleges using CoachComm systems. As the UHF spectrum became more crowded, Peter had a vision for non-UHF wireless intercom. Over a 4 year Peter period, Peter and his engineers worked to overcome significant technical hurdles to produce a professional, wireless intercom that operates at 2.4GHz.

Managers' Dinner starting at 5:30 pm at Moe's on Ten, 39455 Ten Mile Road, Novi (just west of Haggerty Rd.). All are welcome to join us.
