SUBJECT:   MPEG Stream Troubleshooting in Broadcast Facilities


Greg will discuss multiple subjects relating to MPEG in a broadcast station including stream heirarchy, causes of failure, and tools used for troubleshooting. There will be a practical demonstration using a transport stream, analyzer, modulator and decoder including several simulated failure modes.

Greg Martin has been with Rohde & Schwarz America since July of this year, supporting RF and MPEG test solutions for the commercial video market. For seven years prior to joining Rohde & Schwarz, Greg was video sales account manager for Tektronix, representing baseband video and MPEG test solutions in the midwest. He was with Sony as a sales support and service engineer before joining Tektronix.
