BACK TO THE FUTURE - EIAJ Half-Inch Open Reel Video Tape - Resurrecting an
Ancient Format

A tale of the trials and tribulations of Mark Anzicek from Zen Technologies, in the process of transferring 35-year-old EIAJ video archives to present day digital video formats (as recently featured in MichiganVUE magazine).
This presentation will be preceded by a short discussion by Mark, featuring his opinions on current developments on the High Definition DVD format front, and where he thinks this market is going.
Mark Anzicek is president of ZenTechnologies, which performs consulting services and markets niche duplication/replication products to the tape duplication and disc replication media markets. Mark is a past Manager and past Chair of the Detroit Section and, over the years, has attended several of the SMPTE national conferences. Mark previously held engineering and managerial positions at Allied Film & Video, NET Television and Hite Photo.
