Speakers: Jon Rutherford, Senior Solution Architect, and Lisa Jackson, Territory Account Manager, Key Code Media

Topic: Managing Rich Media from Production to Archive and Beyond

Jon and Lisa will cover a variety of topics relating to media management, including:

  • When to begin content tracking
  • Moving from the field to the edit room
  • Finding, sorting, searching and organizing your digital “closet”
  • Working remotely
  • Review and approve
  • Delivery, delivery, delivery
  • Moving it into the “basement”
  • What about the “attic”?

The presentation will cover all the latest technologies and high level topics challenging the ever-growing and changing media world we all work in.

Jon Rutherford – Sr. Solution Architect, Key Code Media

For over 25 years Jon has been working in all aspects of professional video. His experience spans; digital image manipulation and graphic design, multi-media presentations, non-linear video (DV, SD, HD and 4K), 3D animation, advanced motion effects and compositing, DVD authoring and advanced compression techniques as well as full HD and 4K production workflow design and implementation.

His work over the past few years has been focused on providing complete HD, 4K, and film solutions covering in-field acquisition, asset management, editing, color correction, storage utilization, workgroup workflows, post processing, archiving and digital distribution. Customers have included Turner Studios, NASA, Hasbro, MTV, The Pentagon Channel, Johns Hopkins University (Applied Physics Lab), Major sports franchises and more.

Lisa Jackson – Territory Account Manager, Key Code Media

Lisa has over 20 years in the media industry.  Her areas of expertise include client relations, strategic planning, marketing, advertising, management and media education.  Past work history includes President of Specs Howard School of Media Arts, President of Media Power an authorized media-training center for Avid, Adobe and Apple and Technical Services Manager for Communications Systems Group an audio and video systems integrator.
