THE EVENTS:
PRESENTATION 1: This will be a presentation by JOSEPH SCHIMIZZI on a Sony all-encompassing Digital Telecasting
System called MULTICAM LIVE. This is a Sony-Specific Technology which incorporates a wide
variety of HD cameras, production switchers and solid state recording technologies. Joe will be
discussing the new Sony products and the workflows which enable highly creative Live Teleproduction.

PRESENTATION 2: This presentation will provide an explanation of HIGH DYNAMIC RANGE (HDR) in current-day
Video Productions. HUGO GAGGIONI will describe how HDR is used to produce Digital Motion
Images of stunning quality and color resolution. This will encompass camera shading for Cinema and
Broadcast cameras and LUTs. Hugo will provide suggestions for what Video Production and
Engineering teams should be aware of with Lighting levels and techniques for maximum effectiveness
of HDR. If the audience is in no hurry after the presentation on HDR, Hugo has also prepared a brief
coverage of ULL Codecs for remote production, applicable to Cinema and Broadcast applications.
