The creative use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in media production today is delivering engaging content that is personalized, interactive and immersive. This talk will provide an update on some of the latest techniques and how these can be implemented into media production pipelines.

About the speaker:
Thomas True is a Senior Applied Engineer for Professional Media Workflows in the Enterprise Products Group at NVIDIA. In this role, he works at the intersection of video I/O and the GPU where he focuses on the integration of GPU processing and network transport into broadcast, video and film applications ranging from pre-visualization to post-production and live to air.
Prior to joining NVIDIA, Tom was an Application’s Engineer at SGI.
Thomas has a M.S. degree in Computer Science from Brown University and a B.S. degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Tom is also a Manager in the San Francisco Bay SMPTE Section.
