DATE:   Thursday, May 15, 2008 (Note different day than usual!)

TIME:   6:00 PM - Networking and Tour
7:00 - 9:00 PM - Program Presentation

LOCATION:   Grace & Wild HDStudios
23689 Industrial Park Dr., Farmington Hills, Mich. 48335

SPEAKER:   Larry Trinkaus and Grace & Wild Staff

SUBJECT:   RED One Camera Demonstration - An Overview of the design and function of the RED camera, and 4K Production and Workflow

The RED camera promised to revolutionize the process of digital filmmaking since its first introduction as conceptual "balsa-wood- ware" at NAB 2006. Since then, it has evolved into a "real" product doing real work, and it presents new challenges in acquisition and post production. New hardware and software products and enhancements were introduced at this year's NAB.

Veteran Director of Photography Larry Trinkaus and Staff from Grace and Wild Studios will go through the operation of this 4K camera and its workflow. Grace and Wild Studios will also host this event. Come and join colleagues and friends for an interesting and perhaps inspiring evening.

Refreshments and film SWAG will be served.

There is a $5 admission fee to this event (free for MPA members) [Note: We might be able to reimburse this fee to those with up-to- date SMPTE memberships. More info by meeting date.]

More Info: Red Digital Cinema
Thanks to: Grace & Wild HDStudios and Michigan Production Alliance.

There will be no Managers' Dinner because of the early start time and large expected attendance for this month's event.
