SUBJECT:   Architecture Overview of the Isilon Clustered Storage


"Clustered Storage" describes a new category of storage, representing a shift away from "Big Iron." The system's OneFS™ distributed file system and IQ network architecture make for a claim of largest and most scalable file system. Jim will also discuss state-of-the-art advanced data protection, SmartConnect client load  balancing. providing fast access and high concurrency, and its powerful, simple Web-based managemement tool.

Isilon's Dave Glow will provide a "live" demonstration of a system build via WEBX.

Jim Ramberg is Regional Territory Manager for Isilon Systems, and has been in the computer industry since 1980. He was most recently with EMC corporation, before joining Isilon Systems in January 2006.

Dave Glow is Isilon's Field Systems Engineer also based in Chicago. Dave joined Isilon last August, coming from Agami. Prior to that Dave worked at MaxT and Discreet.
