2025 - Anthony Guarino

Anthony Guarino is a senior undergraduate student at the Rochester Institute of Technology, majoring in Motion Picture Science, a program that combines imaging science with film production. His academic and professional interests center around image processing, camera systems, and the intersection of engineering and visual media. He has worked on numerous student film productions in various crew positions, gaining experience across departments with a particular focus on camera operations and data management. He has served as the videographer for RIT’s Student Government and the campus SMPTE chapter, where he currently holds the position of Vice President. Anthony is an undergraduate research assistant in RIT’s Digital Imaging and Remote Sensing Laboratory, where he assists with aerial data collection and the processing of LANDSAT imagery. He recently completed an internship at L3Harris Technologies as an Image Science Software Engineer, contributing to the development of tools and workflows for remote sensing applications. Through his work in film production, imaging research, and software development, Anthony has built a strong technical foundation in imaging technology. His goal is to work in camera and imaging system development, advancing technologies that support both scientific imaging and digital cinema.
